CAPN GUI (Graphical User Interface)

This view is customizable; generally, buttons are larger for easy clicking. It's also possible to make buttons transparent and move them from one side of the screen to the other. A larger chart window can be attained by hiding menus and buttons all together. This screen was captured while in Dead Reckoning mode (no GPS).

GUI with Current Graph

Tide and Current data is included in the software and can be displayed in a graph depicting changes and times. This graph can be printed directly from this view.

Route Detail

The vessel icon (with a GPS provided real-time position) is following a user defined route. Waypoint names and information are labeled or can be hidden if desired. Also shown is the steering bearing and distance to the active waypoint.

Route Details with 3D Chart

3D charts are available in Version 8.03 which includes the new DVD chart set of the US. This split screen is showing both position and the active route on a raster chart and the 3D contour layout of the surrounding area. The 3D chart view can be user defined by moving up, down, left, right, or rotated. Distance circles displayed on both charts for easy area comparison.

AIS Targets

With the connection of an AIS receiver, nearby commercial vessel's position will be shown with an icon on your chart. As shown, a total list of detected targets is shown in a dialog window. This list can be hidden or made visible on command.
